From the steamy Sumatran Jungle to the desolate Sahara Desert, to the bustle of Downtown Los Angeles, to the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado, to the wide open spaces of Texas, to our home in the fertile California San Joaquin Valley, Anatesco is hard at work helping oil producers increase their production and decrease their operating costs.

Anatesco will continue to leverage past experience and developments to further assist our clients in increasing their production and decreasing their operating costs.

Customer demand will continue to be our driving force.

When it lags, we will create it through continued innovation.

This is the Anatesco Special Projects Website.

It was created to let our clients, friends, and future customers view our progress down the path of innovation.

We hope that some if not all of the projects featured on this site will someday result in additional gains for our clients, over and above our core business - which is Production and Dynamometer Well testing.

The current focus of the site is on portable well testing (DynoGauge Systems), low cost, emmission free steam (The Portable Anatesco Solar Steamer), and our Oilfield Navagitor and Tracker (WhereIsIt).

If you are looking for Oilfield Navigational information check out the Clip from "Better Bakersfield" here!

 More News! Minimize

Ever have the problem of typing a well id into WhereIsIt and the system cannot find it?

If so then you are probably using an older WhereIsIt version and you should get a newer one from your Anatesco contact.

  • The problem is that older editions of the system search for exactly what is typed into the well id box or the one selected from the drop down list box.
    • If you are looking for Monte Cristo2 3456 for example, and you type in MC2 3456 you will not find what you are looking for if it is listed in the database as M2 3456.
  • Newer versions, however, allow for well id pattern matching.
    • If you don't know the well prefix or suffix, just type in the base well number
    • In this case, type in 3456 and a fly-out box will populate with all wells in the database that match that pattern, regardless of the prefix or suffix.
    • Double click from the displayed candidates to plot the desired well

Thanks to Mike Prichard of Aera Energy, LLC for this suggestion.

According to Darin DiOrio, a contractor working in the Kern River field, California, this new feature has eliminated over 99% of the wells not found by his people. "The wells were always in there, we weren't typing in the right name - all we have to do now is get part of the well name right. The net result is that we have found everything we have looked for since the latest upgrade ... " says DiOrio.

A cool tool made even cooler, thanks to Mr.Prichard.

Thanks again Mike!
