What is a Sonic Fluid Level?

Shooting a sonic is done by using a special acoustic device to determine the fluid level downhole. The time taken for a return echo to be bounced back from the fluid is recorded and used to calculate the actual fluid level.

Sonic Fluid Levels

Conventional sonic fluid level report. Includes summary when not used inconjunction with dynamometer service. The sonic is integrated with the full VET and PET only.
