DynoGauge Overview
When smart operators really need to understand well performance, they turn to the DynoGauge.
The DynoGauge is a standalone portable well test system designed to provide real time data and well analysis to the production operator.
The DynoGauge utilizes several known and generally accepted components as well as some new and unique innovations.
The net result is an accurate, consistent, and low cost, measurement and reporting system .
“DynoGauge tests don’t just tell you how much your wells are making but why – and better yet, offers real solutions to problem wells”.
How It Works …
The DynoGauge combines several technologies into a single portable system.
· Dynamometer - The Dyno part of the system gathers well loads, polished rod position, temperatures and pressures. Fluid level and pump slip are also determined. Pump displacement in barrels per day is calculated for each stroke from the dyno pump fillage and slip and is plotted on a time scale (strip chart) in real time.
· Water cut and Gross Fluid Sensors –
MicroMotion electronic sensors are used on all of the Dynogauges to determine gross fluid rates. Depending on the application, Agar, CAM, and Red Eye cut probes are used to determine water cut. Gross fluid and net oil rates are plotted on the same scale as the dyno pump displacement. DynoGauges can handle up to 3500 b/d rates and 600 psi (newer models).
DynoGauges also have 10 barrel confirmation tanks, fluid samplers and centrifuges that can be used to confirm electronic gross and net oil measurements.
Dynogauges also have a Total Flow system to measure gas rates.
